Totally should have taken before and during pictures of these, so sorry but you can get the idea. They used to be mosaic mirrors but the mirrors cracked so:
First: I removed the broken mirrors
2nd: Painted over the mosaic boarders with white primer
3rd: spray painted over the whole thing with a white gloss
4th: Cut out 2 circle out of thick card board the size of the hole where the mirrors used to be.
5th: Covered the circles in fabric
6th: Secured ribbon and buttons to the board with a glue gun
7th: Distressed the outside mosaic frame to add a little detail and so they weren't super bright
8th: Hot glue gunned the circles in the middle and Voala!
I'm giving them to my nieces as gifts but first will print a few cute pictures to put on them and add some cute hair clips! They turned out so cute... not to make one for our baby room!

Kari that is so cute! Did you come up with that yourself? I really want to get into doing crafty things like that, but just can't seem to find the time. Maybe when Alan starts school again and he'll be doing homework all night and I'll have nothing to do. ;-) Where did you buy all the stuff?
