We drove down last Tuesday with Kipp Bowman an old friend from High School and got home around 1:30 am, not too bad considering we left a little after 4 pm that day. Day 1 I did 11 people hair for 13 hours straight!
Day 2 Hung out with my side of the family and finished doing 3 other peoples hair, including dying Nicole's hair RED! She looks amazing! With a super short cute cut!
Day 3 (Friday) Went to Pasadena to visit Jon's Dad's side of the family and tried some Mexican drinks. One was made out of Papaya and the other was Spinach...I don't know how but the Spinach one was soooo good! I'm sure it was loaded with sugar. While there we got to hang out with our niece Ava Rae Carreon while she splished and splashed in her little pool. It was so nice to see all the brothers and the others who showed up.
Day 4 We had a BBQ with Jon's Mom side of the family. A lot of people came, which was great because I'm still not too familiar with them since that side is so large, plus some of Jon's Step Dad, Pop's family came too! We played football, which gave me a huge blister in between my toes from my sandles, had a pull up contest... which Jon and Uncle Ricky tide! Ate way too much food and mingled! It was such a great visit and I feel a lot closer to all of them.
Sunday Day 5 we went to church with my family, then headed home to meet up with Nicole, Jack, Wes, and Grandma Pyle! Jack, Wes and Taylee enjoyed swimming in the pool while the rest of us BBQ'd and tried to get a tan. The day ended with us playing the Wii.
It was so great to see everyone! Love you all!
