Wall Art and Pillows

To start decorating our apartment, i decided that we need to add so punch of color to our walls. Jon and I went to Lowes and bought 12 peices of wood that were 2 feet long. 1. We nailed them together to forms boxes 2. Cut and ironed the fabric 3. used gorilla glue and nails to secure the fabric to the boards 4. let them dry 5. Display!
Then I had some left over fabric, bought some orange matching buttons and decided to make some pillow covers. I look off the old pillow covers that came with the couch and sewed on the new and now everything goes gether! I am going to atempt to create a table runner with the same fabric. Fun projects to add some character all for about $40! (including the supplies since we did not even own a hammer!)
